Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White is expected to undergo a medical at Tottenham on Friday ahead of a £60 million transfer.
According to news sources, the 25-year-old has a £60m release clause that Spurs are preparing to activate, with the deal set to progress swiftly on Friday.
Although Manchester City had previously shown interest in Gibbs-White, they have since cooled their pursuit. The midfielder, who has earned four caps for England, registered seven goals and eight assists in 34 Premier League appearances last season. His performances have drawn attention from several top English clubs, but Tottenham have now taken the lead in securing his signature.

Gibbs-White will become the second major departure from Forest this week, following Anthony Elanga’s £55m move to Newcastle.

Tottenham, now under new head coach Thomas Frank, recently brought in Mohammed Kudus from West Ham for £55m and are also eyeing Brentford’s Yoane Wissa.
Gibbs-White signed for Forest from Wolves in August 2022 for a club-record £25m plus add-ons. He has made 118 appearances for Forest, scoring 18 goals and providing 28 assists over three years.

He made his England debut as a substitute during a Nations League win against the Republic of Ireland in September, under interim boss Lee Carsley. His latest appearance came in a 3-1 friendly loss to Senegal, managed by Thomas Tuchel.
