The draw for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, has been conducted. The draw took place at the newly constructed Parc des Expositions in Abidjan on Thursday.
Nigeria’s national team, the Super Eagles, has been placed in Group A, alongside the host nation, Ivory Coast. Meanwhile, the defending AFCON champions, Senegal, have been drawn in Group C, where they will compete against Cameroon, Guinea, and The Gambia.
The tournament is scheduled to occur in January 2024. Here is the complete draw for the various groups:
