According to ESPN, Borussia Dortmund is open to the possibility of reacquiring Jadon Sancho from Manchester United in the upcoming January transfer window. While the Bundesliga club has publicly denied their interest in bringing back their former player, it is believed they might consider it if the financial terms align with their requirements.
A short-term loan for Sancho until the end of the season appears to be the most likely scenario. However, for this to happen, Dortmund would still require Manchester United to cover a portion of Sancho’s substantial £300,000-a-week wage.
Jadon Sancho spent four years at Borussia Dortmund from 2017 to 2021 and maintains a connection with the coach, Edin Terzic. Manchester United is reportedly willing to entertain offers for Sancho in the January transfer window, showing their commitment to supporting Erik ten Hag’s strong stance on squad discipline.
Sancho has been absent from Manchester United’s squad since August, following his public dispute with Ten Hag over being dropped for the September 3rd match against Arsenal.
