Napoli’s forward, Victor Osimhen, is feeling frustrated due to recent comments made about his contractual situation at the club by owner Aurelio De Laurentiis. In an interview with Mediaset, Laurentiis openly discussed the possibility of selling Osimhen, who has less than two years remaining on his current contract.
Despite having a verbal agreement with the Serie A champions, Osimhen has not committed to a new contract. According to GIFN, the player’s agent, Roberto Calenda, is displeased with De Laurentiis’ remarks. Both the agent and the player are now considering a move away from Naples.
Osimhen’s relationship with the Serie A champions was strained following the posting of TikTok videos by the club last month. Additionally, the 24-year-old is currently sidelined due to a thigh injury he sustained while on international duty last weekend. Despite these challenges, he has managed to score six goals in 10 appearances across all competitions for Rudi Garcia’s team this season.
