Manchester United offered former Arsenal star for Jadon Sancho.

Dortmund are set to offer Donyell Malen in part-exchange for Manchester United winger and outcast Jadon Sancho.

The winger has been absent from United’s lineup since August, alleging that Erik ten Hag is dishonest after the manager chose to exclude the midfielder for a match against Arsenal.

Sancho has been engaged in separate training sessions, distancing himself from the main team, and thus far, he has not expressed any remorse for his behavior.

The 23-year-old is contemplating a departure from Old Trafford, and Dortmund has indicated interest in bringing back the midfielder, who left the club in 2021.

The German team couldn’t meet United’s requested £50 million transfer fee for Sancho, in addition to the midfielder’s purported weekly wages of £300,000.

However, according to Bild, the Bundesliga club intends to leverage United’s interest in former Arsenal player Malen to facilitate the potential deal.

Malen, aged 24, performed exceptionally well for PSV while Erik ten Hag was in charge in the Netherlands, and the manager has been monitoring the Dutchman’s development since he moved to Germany in 2021.

According to Bild, Dortmund is convening today to explore a potential transfer for Sancho, and they plan to propose a swap deal with Manchester United, offering Malen in exchange for the Englishman.

If United declines to release Sancho, Dortmund will request a fee of approximately £25.7 million for the Dutchman.

Malen, who spent eight years in Ajax’s academy before moving to Arsenal in 2015, returned to Holland after a two-year stint at the Emirates. The 24-year-old winger has scored four goals in 11 appearances this season.
